Post Article:
Bitch Craft: Lesson 2
author:Anti-J
She was attached out for some live firing (if I’m not wrong), and the whole company celebrated with joy for that absence. No area-cleaning, no bitching on Monday and no field pack inspection by her. Calvin conducted and everyone was happy and cooperative.
A major event that happened this week was the commanders’ appraisal that everyone has to do. The best appraisal goes to Calvin as the title of Mr Nice Guy doesn’t goes to him for nothing, his “acting” blurness and his strong working attitude won the hearts of many. The best PC of the three. As for bad reviews, Jocelin claimed that award. Most felt that she overuse her powers and her rank. In addition, some felt that she should use more brain and brush up on her radio skills, bla bla bla, the list goes on (haha, can see how unpopular she is). She promised she will toned down, she did. But, when CSM is not around and she “regained” that power, will we see back that idiotic bitch?
Tuesday’s 4km route march was easy for many since BMT most people cleared 24km, if not 12km or 16km at least. Everyone was awarded one extra nights out for the job well done, especially appearing in time and place to showcase to brigade commander. The bad news is that, he will be joining us for next Tuesday’s 8km route march. So stressful, and we have to put on our best behaviour. Hmm….
Two platoons had their cohesion. The IS platoon kick start on Wednesday for a sakae sushi buffet at Causeway Point. This was their first cohesion with their PC, Ivan. Many were surprised that they invited Ivan along. The whole 15 people from the platoon attended. They were smart to take photos of the cohesion. Thursday was CSP platoon (minus Jocelin) at Café Le Calarie at Arab Street. The Mexican cuisine was nice and the atmosphere was great, although the location chosen was too far for a nights out. They played pool after the dinner.
The training program for this week was not so hectic, probably the body conditioning had improved. Route march, games, biathlon and 2.4km vest-slack run, national education trip to Army Museum at Singapore Discovery Centre. Ya, again Biathlon. This time round, the new division commander came to participate. Ivan and Rodman had to do up the charts, lesson plan… They started since Wednesday and Thursday was intensive, working till the wee hours, just to put up a good show.Lastly, check out the "Links" section for the poll on the Favourite Commander.
